The Consortium participates in the European Space Power Conference 2023
SCOPS – october 15, 2023
On October 3, 2023, our consortium’s partner, Toulouse-INP, introduced the SCOPS project during the international European Space Power Conference (ESPC), held in Elche in Spain 1.
This event proved to be a pivotal moment, providing an excellent platform to showcase the significance of the ambitious SCOPS initiative in the field of space technology. The primary objective of the project is the development of a multi-phase microprocessor power supply, employing a highly innovative distributed control approach.
The novel architecture utilized in SCOPS allows for scalability across all power supply components such as passive components, semiconductors, and the control unit. This scalability facilitates power discretization and enables reconfiguration options in the event of operational failures.
The presentation of this groundbreaking project during the plenary session garnered substantial interest and generated enthusiastic reactions from the conference attendees, fostering fruitful exchanges among the various members in attendance.
